FRIDAYS are the best!!
I am feeling a little giddy with excitement for a few reasons:

1) I'm coming home to Nanaimo with the two boys for a two week visit. Things that make this possible are:
-Family members and friends willing to pay me to do their hair, thus paying for my ticket (particularly Katie, who helped me organize it)
-Sloan being under two for another month and a half, therefore being free.
-Ann. She really wants to see her grand kids.
I know that I've only been gone for just over two months, but I'm still happy to come home and get a visit in while I can.

2) It's Friday and that means weekend. Even though my weekends aren't always the greatest due to Kyle being busy with his assignments, I always find Friday gives me a reason to feel happy.

3) Jill, my saintly friend (the one with five kids) phoned me up and said that she was already watching someone else's kids tonight (another family from our ward) and wanted to know if I would like her to watch mine too so that Kyle and I  can have a chance to go out. You have no idea how much I've been longing to just go out with Kyle. We still haven't had the chance to explore the city as adults, and there are SO many restaurants we want to try. We just haven't had the funds. Jill had mentioned to me previously that we could do trade offs, watch her kids, and they watch ours another night. I realize that her 5 kids and my two aren't exactly an equal trade, but it's ok with me. She has some older ones, and they're good helpers and Benson and Adriel are the same age and play so well together. Honestly, I have yet to meet a child Adriel doesn't play well with. He loves everyone. Adriel just LOVES going to his house. He hates coming home afterwards. He tells me about all the cool toys they have, etc. Bottom line: Kyle and I get to go out!!! Yay!!!

So those are my reasons.

Sloan calls Adriel "dow" (rhymes with low) It's derived from A-dow. It's so cute! He loves his brother so much. Moments when you watch your children genuinely love each other are so precious.

you coming to visit makes me giddy too!

When are you coming? Too bad it wasn't for Thanksgiving...

You're lucky...wish people would pool together their resources so I could come visit! Of course, I come visit anyways and it's not nearly as expensive, but still...nice to know your fam loves you so much. I wish I could come when you're down.

Me too Bethany, me too!

I'm so happy for you! I wish i could come for a visit and get some Sarah treatment done to my hair too :) When are you going to be there?
