Well Adriel and I just got back from another little trip. We went to Vernon with Jordan who had some business in the area to visit Andrea. We had fun.

Andrea lives in a neat very old house with lots of character. The dive way is very long lined with trees, and the leaves are all turning yellow, it was cool. But everyone's seen pictures, so I wont go on and on. We arrived late Monday night and left wednesday morning so, it wasnt the longest of visits, but it was nice just to be there. On tuesday we mostly just hung out and played karaoke revolution which is just like my dancing game. It was fun. I want that game now. Andrea and Rhiannon had a violin lesson during the day, so they were gone for a while. I hung out with Drew. He showed me around the yard, and talked about his dirt bike jumps and he showed me some of his skateboard moves. When Andrea and Rhiannon got back we played some more karaoke (0ur previous game was sort of interrupted.) Jordan and Kaetlyn joined in later. After dinner we went out and got a movie and some drinks and we "popped some corn" it was fun. It was nice being able to visit with my big sister. She has so many pictures! I got to see lots of the family when it was still young and of grandma bee and grandpa. Shes also saved a lot of things from our childhood, like cards and pictures that were drawn for her and stuff. It was all neat to look at, though none if it was really from me. I guess I was still too young. Jordan and I had good times travelling too.

Kyle has been working in Victoria for the last two weeks. Him and Evan stay over night there during the week. They come up for a little visit on Wednesday and then go back for thursday and friday. So, it's been a bit lonely around here. It was nice to get out of the house and pass some of the time away visiting Andrea. Tracy's busy packing up all they're things. I hate that they're moving out. It makes me feel sad so I try not to think about it. Im worried and skeptical about Ann moving in. Im sure that's no big surprise, but the closer to reality it is, the more I dread them moving out. It was fun living with Jordan and Tracy. Im going to miss them. Adriel is being very whiney so I have to go.

Well I waited too long to write about my trip. Im back home now. Back to everyday life. So much happened in the last week that I was there, and there wasnt really time to write about it.
I'll be brief.

We left for Utah on thursday night. Brenna stayed at a friends so there would be enough room for us in the van. Me and Adriel and Christian were in the back. Adriel was in the middle, and I fed him by hanging a boob over his seat. That was not fun. My ribs were bruised for a good while. We stayed in this condo thing the first night. John and Slavica kindly gave me the room, and them and the kids slept out in the living room. Im not sure it was worth it for them though because Slavica didnt get a good sleep, and it was supposedly the most important one before the marathon. We travelled all day friday through rain. A lot of their stuff was packed on this carrier thing that they attached to the back of the van, which means that it got really really wet because they forgot to put a tarp over it. I felt bad because half the reason that rack was needed was because my stroller took up so much room. Friday evening we arrived in Saint George. We walked around the convention centre and looked at all the different stands they had up for the marathon. Uncle Fred, Naomi, Jeremiah and his girlfriend, and Dylan and his girlfriend eventually met up with us. We all had dinner together. They were serving pasta as a marathon thing. We visited for a while and then went to the home we were staying at. They were an old couple. John and Slavica knew one of their kids in Colorado. They were nice and very typical utah grandparents. The next morning I took care of the kids while they ran. We were just ready to go see the temple (the house we were staying at was just down the road from the temple) when they phone and said they were close to the finish line. The lady we were staying with gave me really bad and wrong directions to where to finish line was, so we were way out of the way at first, but then I saw some runners, so we followed them. We were too late though. We missed John and Slavica. I was really disappointed about that.

After staying the recovery area for a while we went back to the house. John and Slavica showered and we left for Karens. Another four hours. Luckily to pass the time in their car, we were able to watch movies on the laptop. We watched Zathura, it was probably my favourite out of all the ones we watched. Surprisingly good, seeing as I didnt really like jumanji that much. I drove for a little while so John could sleep.

We arrived at Karens at about 9 at night. It was really nice to see her and the boys again. They seem really happy and to be doing well. They're all so big! Karen lives in a beautiful house, and of course it was all decorated cute for halloween. I got to stay in the theatre room downstairs. We went to church on sunday. It was better than I thought it would be because Adriel slept for most of it, and the lessons were very good. We had a thanksgiving dinner at Karens afterwards. The turkey was cooked in a turkey frier. There were some issues with that, but in the end it was very good. All crispy on the outside. We spent monday driving home and then tuesday morning I came home. I was sad to leave. The time went by so fast. It was fun getting to know everyone, and to do the girl stuff with Slavica. It was nice to come home too. I missed Kyle and he missed us too. So thats the rest of my trip, briefly

Oh I almost forgot a big piece of news!!! Adriel ROLLED OVER!! It was on Sunday night, Slavica and I were talking and Adriel was being all squirmy, so I put him on the floor. We continued talking and all of a sudden he just up and rolled over. Wow. I know that its not that exciting when it's not your baby and stuff, but it is to me. I cant believe how fast he's growing up already. Now I have to keep a close eye on him and before you know it he'll be getting into things. *sigh* I love being a mom though. Love it.

Weekend In Colorado
We had a very nice weekend. Here it is in a nutshell. Im sorry, it would be more fun to read if I were Bethany, or Laura, or Amy, or Katie or Andrea...or any of you genious writers... (yes Karey, that includes you too.)

Friday night was date night. Adriel was my date. We went to this place called the westminster prominade. Its this place where you can walk around and there's shops and a lot of resaurants. We went to Tuk tuk to eat. It was Thai food, and I may very well be able to say that it was the best thai food I've had, and I've had some good food! I got the thai green curry and there were many yummy things in it, such as bamboo shoots, prawns, zuccini. Im a sucker for the curries. Especially if there's coconut milk in it. We walked around afterwards. There were tons of teens. Its a huge teen hang out place. After that we decided to go shopping at a thrift store. That's what it was called: Thrift Store. I found some denim capris and I bought them. Slavica found a shirt and bought some things for the girls (which they later turned down and that reminded me of when mom would bring the twins and I clothes from the recycling place-remember that fubs?) John put on a geeky fleece sweater vest and an ugly had and wore it around the store to bug Slavica. Then there was the choice of renting a movie. I insisted that they get Secondhand Lions (arent you proud Fub-a-luffs?) which Slavica seemed skeptical about but couldnt help but fall in love with it, of course. What's not to love? "That was such a great movie!!!" She said rather enthusiastically afterwards...My baby is awake, I'll have to finish later.

Ok on Saturday we went to the Pearl Street mall. It's an outdoor mall that John mentioned before in his blog. It was really neat. There just so happened to be a festival going on there that day (no one knew before we got there) so it was really busy with tons of stuff going on and lots of little booths and tents selling neat stuff. We just took our time wandering around. Getting around with a stroller wasnt exactly easy though. Then we came home and John made bbq steaks. They were so good and it totally hit the spot. Slavica and I watched Dirty Dancing havanna nights. It was fun. I like dancing movies and of course Slavica loves anything to do with dancing. The guy in it was pretty cute, but I think part of the cuteness factor had to do with the fact that he could dance. A guy that can dance ups his cute factor a notch or two in my books.

On Sunday I woke up to a waffle breakfast made by John. Yum. Lots of different toppings. One interesting one was cottage cheese. Who ever thought of putting cottage cheese on a waffle. Christian would have cottage cheese with maple syrup. I didnt try it. I should have because you should try interesting things at least once- you never know what you might discover. We sat around and listened to conference which was good. We only did the morning session though, so I'll have to catch up when I get home. Then we got all ready and went out to the Red Rocks Amphitheatre. It's this natural theatre made from red rocks by the mountains. It was neato. There were a TON of stairs to get up to it, and I was carrying Adriel in the snugli. My legs are still sore today. We had a picnic up there. Slavica made her famous provlone sandwiches. We also made a brief stop at dinosaur ridge where there were dinosaur footprints on these mountain rock things. It was neat. We had a nice time together. It was fun doing stuff with the whole family.

On Monday Slavica and I did more shopping. What can I say? There are endless places to shop around here! We went to DSW (a shoe store which we are guessing stands for the Dumb Shoe Wearhouse?) and I got two new pairs of shoes! They were cute and on sale for 30 and 40 percent off, what could I do? I deserve a treat now and then dont I? I still need to find a skirt... We also went to a few other stores in the area, such as Babies R Us. Oh my goodness, it was huge and it had everything you'd ever want for a baby! I could easily spend and spend in there. But I didnt....It was fun to look and dream though. I have mixed feelings- sad that there isnt one near me, and relieved that I dont have the temptation. I also feel that way about coldstone creamery. So that's it. Im caught up for now.
