OY

I have this letter blocks that spell out JOY that I made last year for my Christmas decorations. Sloan loves to take these blocks down and do different things with them. Often, I am left with out a J, thus it says OY.

These last weeks have been cuhRAZY for Kyle. He has six finals. SIX. The last three of which have been back to back. He gets up early, goes to school. Studies for a bit, writes his exam of the day, (three hours long- ugh) and then goes back to studying for the rest of the day. He comes home at around 6. We eat. Then he's back to studying for the remainder of the evening. I go to bed around 11. He comes to bed sometime in the early morning. He has been working so hard. He's exhausted. I admire him for doing all this. What a hard working man I married.

In the meantime, I have been trying to get ready for Christmas. We leave tomorrow. I admit, I'm feeling a bit anxious about it. It feels like it hasn't been that long since I did the whole living out of a suitcase thing, going from house to house and invading with my children. I don't like being someones guest and it being stressful for them, and that seems to be inevitable with my little hoodlums. However, I hope things will go well, and that we'll have lots of fun, because I'm excited to see family, and family is what it's all about. It really is. And looking back on the last year, I'm so glad that we are closer to family now. Especially at this time of year. So, inspite of my anxiety I know we'll have a good time.

I have really been enjoying playing on a coed soccer team with Kyle. It's something fun for us to look forward to every week that we get to go out with out our kids and do together, and it's exercise. Win-win. Our team is ranked one of the lowest in the league, but we're getting better, and winning more games. I like to win, we all know this, and really, what Clarke doesn't prefer to win?? Don't hold it against me. I don't get really mad at our team or anything if we lose. ha ha.

it's going to be such a release when woodchuck is done his last exam. i remember that feeling. i'm so excited to see you at christmas time!!!
