This morning while I was feeding my kids, I was thinking about how cute Sloan's chubby little mouth is when he has food stuffed into it, and how his dimple shows while he's eating and how I wish I could keep him as a baby for longer than I get to. I said "I love my little boys, I don't want them to grow up and not like me." Then Adriel said "I like you" and I said "that's because you're not grown up yet." He said "I already growed up." Adriel always talks about how big he is. If someone calls him a little boy, he corrects them. The other day we were talking about growing up and I told him when he grew even bigger, (because he think's he's grown up now) he could be a daddy one day. He was like "No! I want to be a mommy!" I told him boys were daddies. He didn't accept that. But then I told him it was fun to be a Daddy, you got to go to work, and have tools and trucks and fix things. Now he's ok with it. ha ha. It's so fun to talk to him right now.

Another funny story about Adriel: We were all at Doug and Delanie's house on the monday after thanksgiving just hanging out. Adriel will often find little pieces of debri such as a piece of kleenex, or a lint ball and he'll roll it in his fingers until it becomes a compact ball. He then carries it around with him, and will ask me to hold it for him if he needs to do something that requires both hands. So, while we were eating, Kyle and I were sitting on the floor, and for some reason Adriel asked Kyle to hold his "ball" Kyle took it naively. I asked Adriel what his ball was. He said "it's a ball" (obviously, how dumb of me:) ) I asked him where he got it. "From my boogie. I made it" he said matter-of-factly. At this time the ball was sitting the palm of Kyle's hand. Kyle promptly turned his hand over and let the "ball" fall onto the carpet. Adriel was horrified. He couldn't find it. He got quite upset and starting crying, a very loud and upset cry. "my ball, you lost it Daddy, you don't just drop it!!" We frantically searched the floor for his ball but to no avail. It's funny how he get's so attached to stuff like that. Kyle told him to make another one, but Adriel insisted he didn't have any left. ha ha ha!

I know it's kind of boring that all I talk about is my kids. Thanks for putting up with it.
We picked out some pumpkins today. A really huge one, and a little one. I told Adriel it was a mommy one and a baby one. That was a mistake because then he kept insisting we needed a big brother and a daddy one.

Pretty much add anything to cream cheese and it makes it yummy...
