Good mornin. Im thinking of making myself an omlet this morning and i just might. Kyle and Evan just left for woik. Its refreshing that they arent going to Victoria. Just nanoose. I can handle that. Adriel sits in his swing in his tight little red sleeper. A "redsuit" if you will. I just might get one of my own for Christmas, you never know. Then we can be the redsuit family. How's that for geekiness?

I love the snow. It's sooo pretty. Yesterday Kyle and I drove to Victoria to do a lil shopping. The roads werent bad at all. Up on the Malahat was SO pretty, with the snow-covered trees and the crystal blue ocean. It was good times. Although for the most part, I did a lot of talking. Telling Kyle about this and that. And he just listened. Adriel slept for most of the way. I got a jugo juice and it was quite disappointing. It was called "blushing mango" and it was mangos and raspberries and "tropical nectar" Sounds good, right? Nope, bland, not sweet, left a powdery coating on my teeth. Not impressed. It was over five dollars for the drink!!!

We had lunch at this chinese restaurant that Kyle promised was SO GOOD. It was yummy. We were given this little sheet of paper and you tick off what you want. The things I chose were weird. But Kyle picked some good ones. Prawn and scallop dumplings, chicken and pork-steamed buns. Hey, I talk a lot about food too, dont I. Well I like it.

Then I went for a quick workout at the gym. It was practically empty. Esther, Leah and I usually go to a class together on Tuesday nights, but neither of them could make it, so I didnt feel like going either. I just did my own thing. I admit I felt a little guilty when I left and saw the class only had two people in it. Ahh well. Blame the snow. I love looking out my window and seeing white.

Man is it cold out though. burrrr. Adriel was screeching in his swing, but the moment he saw me, his face turned to a smile and he wiggled his hand and legs excitedly. Now he's in his little chair next to me. Not making a sound. I guess he just wanted some company.

Today I plan on cleaning an organizing. Its getting hard, because I dont have places for everything. Its frusterating. But, I cant take the clutter anymore. It must be dealt with. Im also hoping a certain fub will come over for a visut.

Here I sit with a cup of hot apple cider, my baby asleep after having a cuddle with me, and life is good. Kyle left for work this morning in Victoria, but he'll be back tomorrow and Esther and I are going to hang out. It was a good weekend too.

My lesson has come and gone, and Im glad it's over. It went well. I mean, I think it went well. I hope that the time goes by as quickly as it did, in the next two months I have to teach. I was lucky to have mom there to share some of her wisdom too. I know that really, the lesson was mostly for me, and that's why Heavenly Father wanted me to teach it. Kyle stayed home from church because his back was really bothering him from moving his mom in.

So far, having Ann upstairs hasnt been too bad. She cant come down because of the stairs, so that's not really a problem. She also watched Adriel for me while I go to the gym when Kyle's not around. Im trying to be positive and patient with her. There are times when its a little harder, I'll admit.

I want to go Christmas shopping. Are we going to do our tradition this year Laura?

Yesterday we spent most of the day with Leah and Steve. We went to the mall together and parused (have no idea how to spell that) around. It was mostly Leah and I looking in stores and the guys hanging out outside of them with the babies. We went back to their house. Kyle and Steve went out with Wade to Furture Shop. He works there and he helped us get a new camera at cost! Im very excited about it. So hopefully I'll be able to start posting lots of pictures.

After dinner we played skip-bo. Leah and I decided that we were a team and as long as one of us wins it didnt matter. Leah won and if she hadnt I would have right after her. That really bothered the guys. they wanted to play something else so they could "slaughter" us. So we finally decided on Family Fued. We played in on the computer. It was fun. Leah and I kicked their butts again actually, three times in a row. There were some funny moments. One of the things was Name symptoms of the flu that you get when you fall in love. Kyle and Steve pushed the buzzer thing first and Steve insisted on "clammy hands." It wasnt even up there. ha ha. So we started teasing him that he had clammy hands when he dated Leah.

yeah. good times.

The fubs and I hang out a lot, and I like it. Either they come over to play deedee, or for me to do hair or something like that, or else, I drag them with me to run errands, or I just show up at Mom's to hang out. I like that they are there and that they are close and that they are in Nanaimo and I never want them to leave ever. Im selfish. They're MY twins, mom said so.

Kyle gets home today and that makes my heart glad. I love date night. Love it. Why do I love it? Because I love eating out, and what of it? Date nights dont have to be going out for dinner, but personally I would be sad if food wasnt included in the evening's events. Food is something fun for me. What can you do?

I took the twins with me to the bank and to homesense, peir1imports, and the mall. Im getting my pink tweed jackut altered, that ann got me for christmas last year. Too much collar. Kyle always gives me a hard time because I hardly wore it last year, and truth be told, the collar was just too much. The lady that's fixing it had a Eurpean accent, like austrian, or something. I dont know, Im not good at guessing that sort of thing.

I have to give the lesson in R.S. this week. I have no idea how. I dont know how to teach. How does one teach??? Im starting to feel a little panicky about it. Then I push my feelings of inadequacy out of my head and try to replace it with positive ones. But I feel my mind wont win this battle because of pure lack of skill. If one doesnt know how to speak mandrin, you cant trick yourself into just being able to do it right? Well I plain dont know how to go about standing up infront of a class and teaching about a chapter out of a book. I just DONT!! Katie, help me! I've even gone and left it to the last minute too. Jeeze Louise.

The chicken bone of yesteryear
We had boneless skinless chicken thighs last night. Some cooked in bbq sauce and others cooked in Mango chili sauce. They were yumzors. However, I did come across a little piece of bone in one of my pieces of chicken. "odd" I thought to myself and fished it out of my mouth and placed it on the side of my plate, so as not to get confused for food throughout the remainder of my meal. I payed for boneless skinless thighs. It wasnt such a big deal to me though, you know, the type of thing that slips your mind by the time you're done eating, and you almost put it back in your mouth thinking it's a scrap you missed.

This morning I had leftovers for breakfast. I do that sometimes. So what? Kye thinks it's weird, but today he wasnt around to haggle me about it. I didnt feel like waiting til lunch. Some where during my meal, the bone had re-established itself on my plate. I dont know how. It was the exact same bone. It wasnt from another piece of chicken. Know how i know that? Because there was no chicken left. It wasnt a part of my left over's breafast meal. Thus the chicken bone of yesteryear manifested itself in my life onceagain.

So Halloween was fun. Adriel was so cute in his outfit. I wish I could post pictures! We went out for lunch with my visiting teachers and I showed him off there. And then we went to the mall with Evan, Esther and Leah and Steve to go trick or treating. Wow it was so busy! I didnt know it would be, but I guess it makes sense, it was warm and dry. Adriel slept the whole time, and we didnt actually go trick or treating we just walked around with everyone. We showed him off at a few more places, like mom and dads, and we took him down to fwuff's workplace and the Vanderleeks and then the Toors. After that we just came home, watched some tv. (gilmore girls was a dumb re-run) and went to bed. Lately we have been going to bed pretty early. I was thinking about when Kyle and I were dating, and we'd stay up on the phone for hours at night, and the contrast between that and now we are thankful when we can get some sleep and jump at the chance. Last night we were in bed at 9:45. We are at such a different place in our lives. Its fun though- being a little family.
