Not much goes on in my life, which is why my posts are infrequent. I have nothing to write about. Kyle goes to work, I stay home and somehow the day slips by and I havent really done anything other than take care of Adriel and some house work. When Kyle comes home and asks me what I have done, he gets tired of hearing that I took care of Adriel.
Went to the doctors today and got in trouble with the doctor (not really but scolded mildly). So the first time I see her she tells me that she doesnt approve of midwives and wouldnt have taken me on as a patient a few years earlier when she was a maternity doctor. Then, today when I came the receptionists sent me to the nurses station to have Adriel weighed before my check up thus making me late. I didnt know the procedure, that they were going to do that. So my doctor told me that I should come early because I had waisted her time, and she had to let other people go infront of me. So yeah, not off to the best start, but she seems nice so hopefully it will work out, because it's hard to find a doctor taking on new patients in Nanaimo.
Yesterday the twins showed up at my house at around 10am with candy and chocolate to watch the first season of Gilmore Girls. It was fun. We basically did that until around four in the afternoon. Amy left for home at around three. It was fun. Oh we took a break to play some ddr too.
Last night I went to a hair show party thing that Edwin and Fiona (old boss and wife) were throwing to promote their new educational dvd they just made and are selling. It was fun, I got to see some of my instructors from the college, and I won one of the door prizes. I never win things like that! (I guess I cant say never now, though) Adriel was good for most of it too. Unfortunately Megan (one of my co-worker friends) has a B.O. problem and after holding him, he slightly smelled like it too. Oh which reminds me, we all got gift bags with free products and stuff in them, and Kyle was going through it excitedly when I got home. He pulled out these fragrance samples, and with out paying too much attention he opened one and started applying it freely to his neck and wrists-all the while making this "yup, Im a stud" face. He walked past me a little later and I was overwhelmed by this strong sweet flowery smell. Ha ha. I asked him if he was sure it was men's cologne that he put on. "no" he said not sounding so studly after all. ha ha. I thought it was funny. He wreaked like a girl. Let's just say it wasnt a turn on.
