Lung Fung
Tonight we are eating at Brother Shum's restaurant Lung Fung. We have been invited by Evan and Esther who are going there for their "dinner group." While discussing this with Tracy, she mentioned how weird the name was and that it reminded her of certain body parts, such as lungs. She pretended to be reading from the menu and described a delicacy- cat lungs. I then added cat lung fung suggesting that fung is the method of cooking the lungs.

Well I started writing that on Saturday, and then we had to leave so I didnt get to fininsh. It wasnt so great- the lung fung. Kyle and I had eaten there before and ordered from the menu and it was good, but we had the buffet and blech. There were no vegetables, the sweet and sour pork was separate from the sauce (these hard little brown balls of tastelessness) the noodles were yellow and mushy, the wonton soup had a tinge of fishy taste. The best thing there was, was chicken curry, and thats not even a chinese dish. Oh well, I cant complain, it was generous of Bro. Shum.

Today Ann and I are taking a trip to Victoria to look for maternity clothes. I really would rather go to the store Laura took me to, because I could get more for the prices, but now is a time of desparateness. I gotta go, we're leaving... let ya know how it goes.
