It snowed!
I was surprised this morning by a white sparkly blanket of snow covering the ground. It was so unexpected. I thought to myself, "that explains the giggling children outside." It reminded me of when I was little and so excited to play outside in the snow. I loved the snow story mom used to tell. Then Fort McMurray came and snow was just the regular thing. But, it didnt diminish my love for snow forever. To me snow is magestic, and I love how the earth gives it reverence when it falls. It's so quiet and romantic, and I love the colour of the sky, especially at night. Of course I also appreciate when snow shuts down school and work. Nothing like being forced to stay and hang out with the fam...

Anyway. My life? Not a lot happening. Last night Jordan and Tracy had the new neighbors over for dinner. They are a younger couple who just had their first baby last month and they had the same midwife that Tracy and I have. We were invited to come too, but we couldnt because we had song practice with Evan, Esther and Leah. We're singing at the stake conference adult session. I didnt do very well at the practice and Im glad that no one noticed or said anything. I was tired- my feet were really sore because of dumb shoes that I wore to work, and I was starving, thus not in the best of moods. When we came home, the neighbors were still over so we popped up to say hi and meet them. They're nice. They just finally picked the name for their baby and it's been four weeks! I cant imagine going that long without a name. They named him Theodore. It reminded me of a bear. Did we have a story about a bear named Theodore? Was he one of the fourteen bears? I dont know. Anywho.

A lady gave me five dollars for the shampoo I gave her yesterday. I love it when that happens. I really really really dont like my hair right now.
