A Happy Christmas Week!!!
As Laura's philosophy, one is entitled to a full week of celebrating one's birth. Therefore, it's still Jesus's birthday week. I really wish Christmas could last longer than it does. This Christmas was great. I got really spoiled by Amay and Kyle, and Ann. Many a precious thing that I wanted. Amy got me lots of cute clothes that I can wear while pregnant (maybe not the whole way through, but for part) and some really yummy vanilla spice body butter and shimmer lotion from the body shop which i love and think it smells christmasy too. There were other pertuns things she got me too, but I dont want to go on and on. Kyle got me a new house coat, the first season of Gilmore Girls (YAY!) and a new perfume I really wanted by Jennifer Lopez and lots of goodies in the stocking. Ann gave me a new pink jacket that she gave to me early because she didnt know if it would fit me by Christmas (which it still does but oh well) and to me and Kyle both, another piece to our lifetime cookware that I had been yearning for and a bunch of little things including slippers that I love and the twins insist that they're Mudsy slippers. I dont care, I like them and they match my housecoat. More than I had expected.
I've been living off yummy turkey leftovers. Im not getting bored of it either, everytime I marvel at how good it is. I LOVE turkey!!! I love making a turkey bun sandwhich with stuffing. mmmm yumzors deluxors minchuctors!!! ha ha ha.
Ann stayed with us for two nights, and by the time she left I was good and ready for her to go. Not that I didnt enjoy her staying with us, it was just time for her to go. I need space. Bethany and Laura came over and we watched the Last Samurai. Such a good movie. Beetuns hadnt seen it yet. So it was nice to experience with her for the first time. Laura and I had a few laughs through out, some Bethany joined in- others annoyed her what can I say, I have a habbit of annoying the twins during movies. Not that they're that easily annoyed or anything I just have a knack for it apparently. After that, I cut the Bangs of Bethany (should be a book) and Laura decided to get a sideswipe herself, so that was done as well. I was cautious, so I left them longer and didnt make them too thick, so if she decides its something she doesnt want, she can easily blend them into her hair, or grow them out with out it being too awckward. Then we went to mom and dads for a game of Slang teasers and then pictionary. Slang teasers is something I enjoy playing but am never very good at. In fact, I lost brutally, but it came to a point in the game where my definitions were getting rediculous, for expamle: fantods: a devout group of fans of Todd from Saturday Night's Warrior. Cherchivache (if thats how you spell it) an ugly hairless bumble bee, etc. Bethany gave me some of her guesses out of the kindness in her heart. And did you know that a blype is a piece of skin that peals off when you have a sun burn? It reminded me of when Bethany and I used to trick Amy by drying white glue on the back of our hands and pealing it off (we called the wrinkled look it gave us "momskin" and pretended that we were shedding all this skin from a sunburn....Or maybe it was Amy and I tricking Bethany- I forget. We used to keep the peelings in a container for safe keeping. Or wasnt there a time when one twin and I tried to trick the other by using skin off a garlic sausage and saying our surburns were pealing and it was all pink? ha ha ha. We were funny. Pictionary was fun too. Dad was his usual self, and I made the mistake of hurting his feelins, and he attempted to leave. I apologized quickly and he stayed. The last round we played the teams were Dad, Laura, and Kyle against me and Beetlemac. They were beating us pretty well, when Amy, a fresh mind showed up and we caught up. It was a tight game. Good times though. Good times had by all.
