And a new day it is
Tennis indeed. Interupts my every saturday morning. But can i complain? Kyle is using a gift I gave him. The fact that he enjoys it so much and is making friends there makes me happy, but enough sap. Time for the nitty gritty.

Last night Kyle and I did a triple date with Evan and Esther and Steve and Leah Hobbs. It was fun. I like the Hobbs (as in steve and leah). They are a fun couple and its fun to get to know them. We ate dinner at Acme. It was yummy. We ordered wings to start half "buzz" and half sweet thai flavoured. Steve and Leah ordered buzz wings also, and Evan and Esther ordered some sushi roll to start and sweet thai wings to come with their meal. Well, the wings came to steve and leah and kyle and I. As the waitress put them down in front of us she said "buzz and sweet thai" Evan didnt hear the buzz part and insisted right after she walked away that she had made a mistake and brought their wings to us. He snatched them up before we could really react and started eating accordingly. Now, you must understand that it was around seven at night. I hadnt eaten since 12 at school and Kyle and i were STARVING. So we flagged down our waitress next time she came by - which I might add, seemed like an eternity. She was all confused as to why Evan had taken our wings- they WERE indeed ours. It was Evans mistake, but by the time she explained that, they had happily eaten half of our wings. Esther had been complaining that they were too spicy (she doesnt like spicy stuff and the buzz wings were spicy) Jeeze. So we had to wait a long time for our wings and when they WERE brought out, Kyle abolished WAY over half. I got four of them or something like that. It was quite annoying to me. The whole thing- the way Evan acted like such a know it all and snatched up our wings- as if his right, and once they finally DID come Kyle ate them all. Why cant he just SLOW down?! On top of it all we were charged an extra two dollars because we used two flavours for our wings and Evan and Esther werent even though they had the same wings as us. Not that big of a deal, but salt in the wound if ya know what I mean. Then we went to Steve and Leah's house to watch a movie. They live in ladysmith. Its quite a nice place though- way nicer than ours. Its a ground level basement sweet and its very spacious. We watched the Count of Monte Cristo. I hadnt seen it, well most of us hadnt- it was really good. I was surprisingly into it. Afterwards we stayed for about another half hour and talked. By the time we got home it was around 1. It was a fun night. Enjoyed myself. geets.

Kyle wants to look at cars today. Since a lot of things are going on our car, he figures we would be better off replacing it with a new one. Like an actual NEW car, not just new to us. Well, Im not totally sold on the prospect, kinda like why do we need a new car? I dont feel like we are in a new car place in our young family. The last thing I want to go and do is get into more debt. Prophet says not to. We're just looking for now anyway, as long as kyle realizes that.
