Yes I am writing in here today. Woke up at ten today, feeling slightly lazy, but then considering I went to bed at 2- I got a reasonable eight hours. I might add that Kyle wanted to stay in bed longer. Now, he's watching the Cosby Show, an everyday favorite of his.
Last night was fun. I like having people at my house. The fwuffs ripped up the dance floor with their astounding dance dance revolution moves and Kaitlyn, Andrea and Katie serenaded us with touching pieces such as Abba, Christina Aguilera. Good times. I probably should have had food to offer seeing as SOMEBODY ate ALL the almond roca that Ann made for Kyle and I, and I had only had ONE piece of it myself, Kyle-none. hmph. We had good girl conversations such as boobs, and Delanie insisting that after she nurses her boobs become shriveled skin with a nipple on the end. She referred to them as Grandma Toner boobs. I asked where that whole thing came from and she said that that was how she pictured Grandma Toner's. Andrea shot that one down saying " no, I've seen hers and they werent like that". Delanie was like "Great, mine are worse than Grandma Toners!" I found it humorous. We stayed up talking until 2, which for us, is pretty late. Fwuffs crashed to party early, you'd think being the youngest the night would still have been young to them. No siree bub. One more thing I would like to add to the story, is that Tracy asked me for some water, so I got her a cup and filled it, and came back to the couch (I was standing behind). I held the glass between her and Delanie, sort of by her face and was too into the conversation to notice that Delanie took it started drinking it. A few minutes later Tracy was like "hey, I asked for some water!" Delanie suddenly realized the glass wasnt for her. She wondered how I knew that she was thirsty. ha ha.
Anyway, on a new years eve, I am contributing seven layer dip to the party and Im excited about it. However, when it comes to these things, Kyle is always concerned about how much money we're putting into it. He always says, all we need is enough to feed you and me. I guess technically this is true, but then not everyone can enjoy the dip. I want to bring enough for everyone to enjoy.
